Porducare is committed to protecting the environment while securing livelihoods. We have planted and protected over 2,000 shea trees in collaboration with local communities, safeguarding this valuable natural resource for future generations.
Through community campaigns, we have reached 5 communities with strong advocacy against tree cutting and deforestation. To reduce dependence on destructive energy sources, we have piloted the use of shea cake as an eco-friendly alternative to charcoal, a solution that turns waste into energy.
We also convene community dialogues on sustainable land use and climate resilience, ensuring that knowledge and responsibility are shared across generations.
